RootAMax Improves Soil Biology
Large healthy roots will release excess sugars back into the soil. These sugars feed the soil biology. A healthy soil will have a higher water holding capacity. Increased soil biological activity will also feed the earthworms. Did you know earthworm eggs can lay dormant in soils for 75-150 years? All they need is good soil health and they will hatch! This picture was taken just 6 weeks after application less than 10 feet apart in the same field. Had the same amount of fertilizer applied on the same day. Notice how the increase of roots is feeding the soil biology.

RootAMax Increases Root Hairs
Did you know that plants only absorb nutrients and water through the very tips of their roots? It does not matter how deep your roots are if you do not have adequate root hairs. These root hairs are responsible for intake of all water and nutrients. The main root stems are simply the highway to transport the water and nutrients to the plant. Notice the increased root hairs in this picture. The plant on the right has the ability to uptake more nutrients and water than the one on the left. Same field, same amount of fertilizer, on the same day only difference was the addition of RootAMax.

Bigger IS Better!
Notice the increase in roots on this customers grass hay by simply adding RootAMax along with his 24D application. The roots on the right will find more water and nutrients resulting in more and higher quality hay harvested.

RootAMax Works On All Crops
While most of our trial work has been on hay - here is a test I did we did in spring of 2025 on wheat that will be harvested for grain. Notice the drastic increase in root mass. We are looking forward to getting the yield data to place on our website!
